For each folded book pattern you will need:

The manual provided with the bookfolding pattern (in cm and mm for precision)
A hardbacked book measuring at least 20cm (8") in height
The number of pages in your book depend on letters, in general you'll need a book in which the last page number is at least 350
Microsoft Excel or Open Office Calc to open and use your chosen pattern
You may wish to use one of our folding tools to create a neater, sharper fold and crease. These are available on the bottom of this page.

After the order has been confirmed, we'll start designing the pattern for you. We always try to email the pattern to you as soon as possible, you'll receive the pattern within 48 hours. Please make sure you're email address is correct, as we will email this pattern to you.
You'll receive a clear manual together with the pattern, this manual will explain how to read and use the pattern.
The book you need for this pattern varies from pattern to pattern. Usually you need a book of which the last page number is at least 325, more pages is not a problem. The height of the book has to be around 20 to 23 centimeters (around 8 to 9 inches) for an optimal result.

Super helpful! Instructions should be a little more clear though on minimum pages you need for your design! To see if your book is going to work, just put the number of pages of the book in the doc that tells you what page you should start on, and if it won’t work it will tell you so!
