At least 466 numbered pages in your chosen book (or more)
Microsoft Excel or Open Office Calc to open and use your chosen pattern

Easy to follow directions turns out a beautiful product. This was the second book I folded and it looks really great (as if I had done this for years.). Gift recipient loved it also.
