The Ribas wineries are located in Consell, on the island of Mallorca, and these wines are made for more than 300 years ago. It always works with a high percentage of the Majorcan varieties Mantonegro and Prensal , as part of the family legacy . The Ribas wineries are also responsible for recovering other native grape varieties of the island, as Gargollassa , which were practically disappeared and complementing earlier .
The more than 40 hectares of vineyards are worked and harvested by hand and also have the oldest plantation and the greatest diversity of native varieties of the island. Ribas is a pioneer in Mallorca in the selection of grapes in the vineyard and in the grain to grain selection in the winery , ensuring the highest quality in its wines.
