This red wine is dedicated to the honor and memory of those who fought for independence and freedom in 1715 at the time of the invasion of Mallorca by the troops of the Crown of Bourbon.

Calonge 1715 negre is a compound of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot grapes. The aging process has been fifteen months in stainless steel vats and four months in the bottle. The wine was bottled in January 2017. The alcoholic graduation is 14.5% Vol. Only 4,000 bottles were produced.

Calonge 1715 negre is an authentic Mallorcan red wine with a balanced nose and a pleasantly intense, elegant finish that is very pleasant to drink. The color is intense and earthy. The wine has a well-defined character and can be enjoyed alone, in good company of friends and with red meat, game, poultry, pasta, pizza or vegetarian dishes.
