The most famous of the noble varieties gives wines of great intensity ,
complexity and aroma in the lands of the estate. Unlike other
latitudes , the wine matures in oak barrels quickly , giving wines
bodied and round in the mouth , keeping characteristics
unmistakable varietal .
varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon (99.2% ) with a small percentage of Callet (0.8% )
vineyards: Vineyards planted 11 years old on soil type aluvióncalcáreo - clay .
harvest: 7 to 29 September 2011
Production of the year: 14000 bottles ; 10500 l
Preparation: Traditional fermentation at controlled temperature , aged for 16
months in oak barrels of mostly Hungarian origin.
Date of Bottling: August 2, 2016
Alcohol content:14.5 % vol .
Volatile acidity : 0.57 g / l acetic acid
Tasting notes: Maroon , clean, bright and red with good depth . On the nose, aromas
fruits ( plum, ripe cherry ) combined with the aromas of roasted
almond , toast and wood. Still being a dry wine,
mouth is sweet , recalling ripe , rich fruit and soft tannins . in
the finish found burnt wood with fruits
forest. Wine very balanced and wide.
Drink Serve at 17-19 º C. Serve with meat and derivatives, such as
Majorcan spicy sausage, and strong cheeses like Mahon.
