B1964 - Fabulous Large Antique French Plaster Bust, Country Maiden In Bonnet, Circa 1900

This is a fabulous antique French plaster bust dating around 1900. It would look superb, perhaps on a mantelpiece or on a sidetable.

The subject is a beautiful girl. She has lovely face with pink lips and dimples. Her wavy hair is adorned with flowers and is covered to the back with a bonnet.

She wears a shawl beautifully draped around her shoulders and secured to the front with a plumptious knot.

She sits on an integral base with a village scene to the front. The back is inscribed with the number 203, and signed C.F. PARIS.

The bust is in rich dark atmospheric shades. She is in good antique condition with just a few minor scratches at the neck. 

She measures :- 44.5 cm (17.5 inches) high x 27 cm (10.6 inches) wide x 16 cm (6.25 inches) deep.

This is a gorgeous bust to add an authentic antique French finishing touch and another divine brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
