This is a gorgeous antique French ostrich feather fan dating from about 1890. It is large and decorative and would add an authentic château chic finishing touch to a boudoir.

The feathers are full and plumptious and are in lovely neutral tones. There is a beautiful marcasite embellishment to the front stick and on the back of the back stick is an oval plate with the monogram AH.

The fan is in good antique condition. It has been used but any wear is minimal and does not detract from it's quality or beauty.

When fully extended the fan measures :- 80 cm (31.5 inches) wide x 44 cm (17 inches) high. We have photographed it with a champagne bottle and glass to give an idea of size.
