P114 - SOLD

This is a beautiful antique French brass dressing table mirror in the Rococo style and dating from the 1800's. It would be divine for a château chic boudoir.

It stands on scrolled acanthus leaf feet and has a fabulous scrolled acanthus leaf crest. The sides have further scroll work and there is a sweet little flower to one side. The brass has mellowed to a lovely old gold hue.

The mirror plate is thick and beautifully bevelled. It is just as it should be with the merest freckling of age spots.

The mirror rests on a sturdy brass support and there is a loop for hanging on a wall.

It measures :- 46.5 cm (18.25 inches) high x 29 cm (11.5 inches) wide.

This is a beautiful mirror to finish off a special dressing table and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
