This is a fabulous pair of decorative 19th Century antique French spelter urns  They are very architectural and would look stunning on a mantlepiece or a console table. They would certainly add an authentic château chic finishing touch to a room.

They are made in the Empire style. They stand on a pedestal and have scrolled handles with acanthus leaf detail. On the widest part of the urn are shields with laurel leaf swags. The spelter has a bronze coloured finish.

The urns are in excellent condition with no repairs or cracks. They are very substantial, each one weighing over 1.5 kg.

Each urn measures :- 27 cm (10.5 inches) high x 8.5 cm (3.25 inches) across the top x 8 cm ( 3 inches) across the bottom.

A delightful pair of  urns to add a château chic finishing touch and another superb antique French architectural find from La Belle Étoffe!
