This is a superb pair of vintage French brass curtain pole finials dating from the mid 20th century. They would certainly add a smart touch to a window.

Their shape resembles an acorn but they are in fact an acanthus leaf cup holding a pine cone.

They are heavy and of good quality with excellent detail to the casting. The brass has antique patination with golden highlights.

The finials have their original screws for fixing to a pole.

They measure:- 10 cm (4 inches) high x 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) wide. The base plate is 3.75 cm (1.5 inches) in diameter.

A superb pair of curtain pole finials to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine vintage French find from La Belle Étoffe!
