This is a divine plinth / shelf made from reclaimed components from antique French Louis XV style furniture dating from the 1800's. The resultant piece is absolutely stunning and it would be perfect for displaying a few treasured pieces in a special niche.

The bracket of the shelf is formed from the scrolled acanthus leaf  crest from an armoire and the shelf itself is beautifully carved and shaped.

It has been lovingly painted and gently distressed in a gorgeous shade of dark turquoise / teal paint.

The shelf is in good sturdy condition. There has been a little worm in the past but this has been treated.

There are two loops on the back for hanging it on a wall.

It measures :- 50 cm (19.75 inches) wide x 20.5 cm (8 inches) wide x 19 cm (7.5 inches) deep.

A gorgeous shelf to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe.
