This is a divine set of 4 petite antique French ormolu curtain tie backs dating from about 1880.

They have attractive decorative back plates and the fascia of the hooks has a lovely acanthus leaf design. They are of good quality and there is excellent definition to the casting of the metal. The gilding is lustrous with a gorgeous buttery hue.

The tie backs have a strap on the back of the top plate and can be fixed by hanging them on a hook. There is also a screw hole for extra security.

Each hook measures :- H 11 cm (4.3 inches) x W 4 cm (1.5 inches) x D 9 cm (3.5 inches).

This is a lovely set of tie backs to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
