This is a divine pair of antique French toleware curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's.

They are of classic shape with fine leaf detail.

The gilding has a lovely lustrous buttery hue. It has mellowed over the years and has areas of verdigris. This is a stunning effect that could not be replicated.

The finials have their original bolts for fixing to a pole.

They measure :- 8.5 cm (3.3 inches) long x 5 cm (2 inches) across the base plate.

This is a good size and they would add château chic grandeur to any curtain pole.
