This is a fantastic antique French kitchen rack and 4 utensils set in the Art Nouveau style and dating from about 1900.

It is made from aluminium and would look superb in either an ultra modern or vintage cuisine.

The rack has a rail upon which the utensils hang and a tray at the base to catch the drips. On the back of the rack is stamped in repoussé a charming scene of a mother duck and her 3 ducklings at a lily pond. 

There are 4 utensils :- a slotted skimmer, a ladle, a sauce spoon and a meat fork.

The aluminium on the rack and the fork has worn a little over the years (see pics) but this does not detract from the aesthetics of the set.

There are two holes on the rack for hanging on a wall.

Dimensions :-

Rack - 51 cm (20 inches) high x 37 cm (14.5 inches) wide x 12 cm (4.75 inches) deep.

Skimmer - 37 cm (14.5 inches) long x 11 cm (4.3 inches) wide.

Ladle - 36cm (14 inches) long x 10 cm (4 inches) wide.

Fork - 34 cm (13.5 inches) long x 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) wide.

Sauce spoon - 26 cm (10.25 inches) long x 6 cm (2.3 inches) wide.

This is a fabulous set of utensils to add a decorative touch in a cuisine and another superb vintage French find from La Belle Étoffe.
