This is a charming antique French brass bottle opener dating from the early 1900's.

It is in the shape of a lady's hand and is beautifully detailed. The hand is long and elegant and there is a frilled cuff and bracelet to the front and back of the wrist.

The bottle opener itself is heart shaped and works perfectly. The gilding on the brass has mellowed over the years to a fabulous antique hue.

The bottle opener measures :- 12 cm (4.75 inches) long x 3.5 cm (1.3 inches) wide x 2 cm (0.75 inches) high.
