This is a fabulous set of 8 antique French ormolu curtain rings dating from the 1800's.

They have a gorgeous scrolled acanthus leaf embellishment that will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole.

The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook.

The gilding on the ormolu has mellowed over the years to a fabulous antique hue with some areas of verdigris. This is a fabulous effect but it would polish off if required.

The rings are all good and strong with no dents.

Each ring including the acanthus leaf embellishment measures 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) high x 3.25 cm (1.25 inches) wide.

The inside of the curtain ring itself measures 5.5 cm (2.25 inches) in diameter.
