This is a magnificent pair of heavy antique French ormolu / brass curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They are of a shape similar to a 'Fleur De Lys' and are very architectural.

They are of good quality with good detail to the casting. The gilding on the ormolu has mellowed over the years to a soft old gold hue. The finials have their original bolts for fixing to a pole.

They are of a good size and will add château chic grandeur to any window.

They measure:- 16 cm (6.25 inches) long, not including the bolts and 5 cm (2 inches) across the base plate.

These lovely finials can be seen in our shop in Frome, Somerset.
