B416 - SOLD

This is a superb antique French cake mould or 'Bundt' dating from about 1920.

It is made from earthenware and can be used for baking cakes or just displayed for it's rustic vintage charm.

The mould is glazed and is a lovely mushroom colour. The ouside glaze has attractive 'splash' decoration in a dark brown / ochre colour combination.

The mould is a substantial weighty piece. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is just a little wear to the glaze on the bottom where it has probably been moved around on a shelf for many years.

The mould measures 10.5 cm (4 inches) high x 23.5 cm (9.25 inches) diameter to the edge of the rim.

This is a lovely old piece of antique French kitchenalia to collect and display or to use in a working kitchen.
