This divine 3 arm antique French candle wall sconce would certainly add a château chic finishing touch to a room.

It is made in gilded spelter. The backplate has a central rectangular bevelled mirror with a gorgeous cherub crest above. Beneath the mirror is a stunning bearded mythical face.

The three arms branch out from the backplate and have delicate detail.  The candle cups sit on decorative bobeche.

There is a loop on the back of the sconce for hanging on a wall.

The sconce was once wired for electricity. There is a hole in each bobeche to take a wire.

The sconce is in sturdy antique condition. The gilding has mellowed to an atmospheric hue over the years and the glass plate has foxed but this just adds character to this stunning piece.

The sconce measures  :- 46.5 cm (18.3 inches) high x 23 cm (9 inches) wide x approx 11 cm (4.3 inches) deep.
