This impressive pair of two armed antique French brass candle wall sconces would certainly add flickering candlelit atmosphere to a château chic interior.

They are very substantial and sturdy with good weight, each one weighing over 1 kg. They are in the Empire style. The backplate is formed by a quiver of arrows tied with a beautiful bow with ribbontails.

The two arms branch out from the backplate and have acanthus leaf detail. The candle cups sit on decorative bobeche.

There is a strap on the back of each sconce for hanging on a wall.

The gilding on the brass has a lovely antique hue.

Each sconce measures  :- 36 cm (14.1 inches) high x 26.5 cm (10.4 inches) wide x approx 15 cm (5.9 inches) deep.
