This is the most gorgeous antique French planter / jardinière dating from the Napoleon III period C 1860. It would be perfect to take a couple of geraniums and would sit beautifully on a window ledge or perhaps as a centre piece on a console table.

The jardinière is made in toleware. It has it's original sublime green paint which has patinated to perfection over the years. It is rectangular in shape and sits on a plinth. To either end is a fabulous lion's head and ring embellishment.

It is in good antique condition with no corrosion to the metal.

The jardinière measures :- 26 cm (10.25 inches) wide x 17 cm (6.7 inches) high x 17.5 cm (6.8 inches) deep.
