B1666 - SOLD

This is a fabulous antique French soap dish dating from the 19th Century. It would originally have hung over the side of a bath. It is a very atmospheric piece and would add a marvelous authentic finishing touch to a period salle de bain.

The dish has two arched arms for hanging purposes and there is a decorative pierced bowl to take the soap. It is made in metal and has patinated to perfection over the years.

It measures :- 18.5 cm (7.25 inches) high x 14 cm (5.5 inches) wide x 9 cm (3.5 inches) deep.
