This is a gorgeous antique French cotton parasol dating from about 1930. It is a feast for the eyes, in excellent antique condition and would be a coveted addition to a collection.

The canopy is made in a fabulous printed floral cotton in vibrant shades of pink, red, blue, orange and green on a black background. The stick, ferrule and handle are in varnished wood. The handle has an attractive finish.

The parasol has survived the years in amazing antique condition. The mechanism is all good and strong. There is just a little darkening to the textile around the ferrule.

It measures :- 55.5 cm (21.75 inches) high and is 68 cm (26.75 inches) across the canopy when open.
