This beautiful antique French gilded mount would originally have come from a bed or an armoire and dates from the 19th Century. It would look superb just hung on a wall or above a painting, or could be used as part of a restoration project.

It has a gorgeous bow and ribbon tail crest from which hangs an exquisite basket filled with flowers which tumble down one side .

The mounts is of excellent quality and is a weighty little piece. Fabulous detail to the casting of the metal gives the bow and flowers their wonderful three dimensional quality. The gilding has mellowed to a lovely antique hue.

The mount has 4 holes to take pins for fixing and measures :- 21 cm (8.25 inches) high x 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) wide.
