This is a divine antique French filigree candle holder dating from the 19th Century. It would originally have come from a church and would now make a superb addition to a religious display or shrine.

It is exquisitely made in gilded filigree repoussé and sits on 5 pointed feet. It is positively encrusted  with gorgeous faceted paste stones in rich jewel colours which glow with life from the light of the candle. The stones are beautifully held in amazing quality claw settings.

The gilding on the metal has mellowed to a lovely old gold. The piece is in excellent antique condition. All the stones have survived the years intact and are securely held.

The candle holder measures :- 9.5 cm (3.75 inches) high x approx. 7.5 cm (3 inches) in diameter.
