B1305 - Amazing Set 7 Antique French Gilded Acanthus Leaf Chateau Curtain Rings, 19th Century

This is an amazing set of 7 antique French gilded metal curtain rings dating from the 1800's. They would be perfect to add a château chic finishing touch to a portière, or they could be alternated with plain rings on a larger curtain.

They have a gorgeous long acanthus leaf embellishment that will sweep down over the top of the curtain when hung on a pole. The effect will be stunning and very chic.

These rings were originally sewn directly onto the curtain but a wire loop could be added to each ring in order to take a modern curtain hook. 

The rings are very substantial and of good weight. The gilding has mellowed to a gorgeous antique hue.

Each ring including the acanthus leaf embellishment measures 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) high x 2 cm (0.75 inches) wide.

The inside diameter of the curtain ring measures 5.5 cm (2.25 inches).
