This is the most heavenly pair of antique Italian toleware candle wall sconces dating from the early 1900's. They are exquisitely pretty. Imagine how atmospheric they would look lit with candles, perhaps in a bathroom or a conservatory.

Each sconce has a weaving branch from which a plethora of varied leaves and flowers burgeon. We have both palmate & pinnate leaves and simple & compound flowers to create a surreal vision of beauty! The colours are soft greens, pinks, turquoise and white. Over the years the paint on the metal has taken on a fabulous patina - a look that could not be replicated.

The candles are held aloft in petalled bobeche. There is a loop on each sconce for hanging on a wall. The sconces are in good sturdy condition.

Each sconce measures :- 26 cm (10.25 inches) high x 13 cm (5 inches) wide x 11 cm (4.25 inches) deep.
