B1260 - SOLD

This is a stunning pair of long vintage French cotton toile curtains with antique toleware rings and a pair of sewn hold backs. We also have a king size matching bed cover / large curtain (B1261) which is listed in our other items.

The toile design is printed in a lovely shade of burgundy on a light cream background. It has an 18th Century seafaring theme with many vignettes of fishing boats and maritime scenes.

The curtains have pinch pleats to the top and are sewn with antique toleware curtain rings, 6 to each curtain. There is a brass ring to each top outer corner to take a tape for securing to a pole. The curtains are lined. There is also a pair of shaped matching toile textile hold backs.

The curtains are in excellent vintage condition and look like they have never been used.

Each curtain measures :- 214 cm (7 ft) long x 68 cm (2 ft 2.74 inches) across the top and 148 cm (4 ft 11.25 inches) across the bottom.
The curtain rings have an external diameter of 7.5 cm (3 inches) and an internal diameter of 5.5 cm (2.25 inches).

A gorgeous pair of curtains to add an authentic vintage French finishing touch and another divine brocante find from La Belle Étoffe!
