This is a delightful pair of antique French gilded metal château light / curtain pulls dating from the 1800's. They are most unusual, very decorative and would certainly add a château chic finishing touch.

They each have a twisted column with a repoussé bead to either end. At the top of the column is a hook for attaching to the curtain or light cord and from the bottom a decorative embellishment hangs freely. The embellishment has a pierced design of swirling acanthus leaves.

The gilding on the metal has mellowed to perfection over the years and there are even areas of verdigris. It has a fabulous antique look that could not be replicated.

Each pull measures :- 30 cm (11.75 inches) high to the top of the hook x 4.5 cm (1.75 inches) wide across the embellishment.
