This is a superb pair of antique French brass curtain tie backs in the Rococo style .

They are unusual in that they have a left and right mirror image configuration.

The back plate and fascia of the hook have a gorgeous swirling acanthus leaf design.

They are substantial pieces of good quality and weight with excellent detail and definition to the casting of the brass.

The brass is still shiny with a subtle antique patination.

The tie backs have a strap on the reverse of the back plate and can be fixed by hanging them on a hook. There is also a hole to take a screw.

They measure :- H 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) x W 3 cm (1.25 inches) x D 10.5 cm (4.1 inches).

This is a gorgeous pair of tie backs to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
