This is a divine pair of antique French curtain pole finials dating from the 1800's. They are a rare find and truly would add an authentic château chic finishing touch to a curtain pole.

They are finely carved from wood and are beautifully water gilded. The gilding has subtle hints of the red bole base and has minor areas of distressing which just adds character to these wonderful old finials.

The finials have their original wooden dowels for fixing into a pole.

Each finial measures:- 19 cm (7.5 inches) long (not including the dowel) x 11 cm (4.3 inches) high. The base plate is 4 cm (1.5 inches) approx. in diameter.

A superb pair of curtain pole finials to add a château chic finishing touch and another divine antique French find from La Belle Étoffe!
