This is a divine long tablecloth and matching set of 12 antique French pure linen damask napkins dating from the 19th C. Both the tablecloth and napkins are finely hand embroidered with the monogram B R.

The tablecloth is long and would look superb on a château table. The linen damask has a leaf and flower design. There is one monogram measuring approx. 12.5 cm (5 inches) to the centre of the tablecloth.The monogram is hand embroidered with raised satin stitch.

The napkins are large. The monogram is cental to each napkin and measures approx. 6 cm (2.3 inches).

The tablecloth and napkins are as we found them, clean and fresh.

The tablecloth measures :- 230 cm (7 ft 6.5 inches) long  x 152 cm (4 ft 11.5 inches) wide. We have photoghraphed it on a 2 metre long farmhouse table.
Each napkin measures :- 78 cm (2 ft 6.75 inches) x 67 cm (2 ft 2.25 inches).

A lovely château chic finishing touch to a salle à manger and another superb antique textile find from La Belle Étoffe.
