How to use the website and place orders
TO OPEN A TRADE ACCOUNT YOU MUST PROVIDE SUITABLE TRADE DETAILS, eg.
A LETTER HEAD, A COPY OF AN INVOICE WITH YOUR COMPANYS NAME, ETC.
Any uploaded info. can be sent to us at: email@example.com
Parts can be found from either description and/or circuit reference. If you cannot find a board from the part number, try removing or adding any punctuation such as - , / etc.
We have 5 postage methods. These are:
If your postal address not shown.
If your postal address is outside these areas then select the customer pick up option and you can arrangement your own currier to collect or have the items delivered to an address we can post to. If you choose and incorrect postage method we will try to contact you however this may delay any orders being sent.
If you want to know the total costs.
To know how much an order will cost including tax and postage you can simply add any number of products to the shopping basket, you will not be able to see the total cost but will not be able to place the order.
To place an order and payment.
To place an order please register 1st with your name, postal address with post code and email address.
If the parts are in stock orders with be dispatched same day (If placed before 3.30pm, otherwise we cannot guarantee same day postage) otherwise they will go the next working day.
Orders and payment can be taken over the phone. We accept credit card, paypal, cheque, cash and postal orders. Orders can be collected from our trade counter.
If you have ordered a board repair.
This means a board needs to be sent into us, please make sure it us suitably packaged. We do not recommend jiffy bags for this purpose as boards can get damaged in the post.
Any problems or questions about products please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will try to answer you as soon as possible, if you do not get a reply then we may of over looked the email so please feel free to ask again. We try to reply to every email sent.
If you do have a technical query, please have the details ready before contacting us. This means we can give you the best advice possible.
The boards and parts we sell are all tested and working, we do not strip sets regardless as some other companies do. If we make a mistake and send the wrong board out we will cover the cost of returning the board. If you need to return a board to us then contact us before hand, however due to the amount of orders placed for parts to be used for testing purposes RETURN COSTS ARE TO BE MET BY THE CONSUMER.
At Ohm we believe that engineers can repair almost anything providing the parts, knowledge and tools to do this are available to do this. We provide repair kits and service information to help with this and work with other specialist companies in the trade to help with is.
We recommend all kits are fitted by qualified personnel. We accept no responsibility for loss, injury or damage caused by your use of this kit as a successful repair depends on your own skill and fault finding ability.
