Reproduction d'un sampler ancien de ma collection, le plus vieux  : 1801

Ce sampler était vraiment endomagé et il m'a été impossible de décrypter le texte, j'ai donc improvisé

"Elle sait faire courir l'aiguille

Qui brodera son ouvrage

Et d'un regard admiratif

Elle croise chaque fil de soie"

Points utilisés : point de croix 1 fil sur 2 fils de trame, demi point 1 fil sur 1 fil de trame, point lancé.

La fiche est imprimée sur 20 pages pour une meilleure lisibilité.

Reproduction sampler.

A rather large sampler featuring a large flower basket in the center. Filled with spot motifs and a very nice floral border.

Ann Mitchell stitched the original sampler in 1801.

The verse area of the antique sampler was so damaged that I created a new French verse to replace it.

Cross-stitch over two, cross-stitch over one for the verse, and a little backstitch.

Chart 15 euros 

Stitch count is 339 wide by 387 high.
