Victorine Chenevas-Paule stitched her sampler in 1869.

It's a sampler whose tones have become very soft over time. 

Its modest dimensions (262 x 2642 stitches) and the few colors used (12) make it a pleasure to stitch.

My linen suggestion: 40ct Zweigart color 323 or 3077. 

Coded in Soie d'Alger, with conversion to DMC.
