Algae, whether as suspended particles causing green water or blanket weed, the fibrous sting algae is the pond keeper's worst nightmare. Green algae clouds the water preventing you from seeing your fish and blanket weed can smother aquatic plants and clog pumps and filter systems.

There are many types of treatments available and here is our selection, which we believe to be the best on the market at the moment. These products have all been tested on our premises in one of our numerous ponds. Please read instructions on the packages before use. For long-term control of algae ensure that the pond is well stocked with oxygenating plants. These plants grow rapidly and out-compete the algae for light and nutrients. Also avoid over feeding your fish.
