Oxygenating Plants

Oxygenating Plants

Oxygenating Plants play a very essential role in any volume of water as they assist the balance of the pool. Technically, there are many reasons. One is the release of oxygen during daylight hours, benefitting the fish population.

However, remember your school days! In the hours of darkness they release carbon dioxide. Too many of them is detrimental to a heavily stocked pool so keep them under control! Oxygenators are supplied in bunches (see photos). Planting quantity guide 5 bunches per square metre.
