SIZE
M = European foot size 37-38, US 7 - 8
To obtain gauge and to make the socks larger or smaller, use needles one or two sizes larger or smaller. Lengthen or shorten the foot as necessary. Adapt toe size by using your favourite toe-up-toe. Take your time to make a swatch in the round. Be aware that the travelling stitches will make your sock less stretchy.

Total Gusset Length (including heel turn!) 11 cm’s, 4.3"
Foot circumference – about 20 cm’s
Ankle circumference – 26 cm’s

YARN
Rohrspatz & Wollmeise, 1 skein superwash 100% merino sock yarn, colourway Digitessa, 150 grams

NEEDLES
80 or 100 cm –  2.00 mm and 2.50 mm  
You can also use 2 circular needle(s) or set(s) double-point needles or size to obtain gauge

NOTIONS
Stitch markers (optional)
Tapestry needle
Crochet hook 3 or 3,5 or 4 mm (must be bigger than knitting needle(s)

GAUGE
32 sts x 41 rows = 10x10 cm’s or 4x4 inches in pattern stitch

Skills
Basic crochet, turning short rows, twisted or travelling stitches, knitting in the round, chart reading. When working in the round, read every row in the charts from right to left. Separate instructions are given for the provisional crochet cast-on and the 'cabling without a cable needle' technique.

PATTERN NOTES
The socks are worked toe-up on one circular needle. Use two circulars or double pointed needles if you prefer this.
