Knit The Spina di Pesce with the special Wollmeise sock yarn in the exclusive Spina di Pesce colour to reveal the glory of the fishbone pattern.

• SIZE
  M = European foot size 37-38, US 7 - 8
  To obtain gauge and to make the socks larger or smaller, use needles one or two sizes larger or smaller
  In the pattern, I have included separate charts for the sizes Large and Xtra Large. In the instructions, there is no further mentioning of these extra sizes. You will see that they speak for themselves. Lengthen or shorten the foot as necessary. Be aware that the travelling stitches will make your sock less stretchy; the larger gusset will compensate.

• YARN
  Rohrspatz & Wollmeise 80% Superwash Merino-wool/20% Polyamide sock yarn, colour Spina di Pesce, one skein of 150 grams
• NEEDLES
  2.00 mm and 2.50 mm circular needle(s) or set(s) double-point needles or size needed to obtain gauge. Length of circular needle 80 or 100 cm.
• GAUGE
  32 sts x 41 rows = 10x10 cm or 4x4'' in pattern stitch
• SKILLS
  Basic crochet, turning short rows, twisted or travelling stitches, knitting in the round, chart reading. Separate instructions are given for the provisional crochet cast-on and the 'cabling without a cable needle' technique
• PATTERN NOTES
  The socks are worked toe-up on one circular needle. Use two circulars or dpn's if preferred.
